  • is WeToca currently available?
    WeToca is currently unavailable. We are still developing the product. Feel free to reach us via email to ask for more information.
  • who is WeToca for?
    WeToca is designed to cater to a range of different connections. each rock has a different level of interaction. the hug rock is designed for moments between close friends - as if sharing a hug. the beat rock is designed for moments between close connections and relatives - as if to place your head on their chest. the tickle rock is designed for moments between two strongly connected people - as if you are feeling them touch you. WeToca only designs the sensory experiences, how you use them is up to you! this is part of the trust and connection between you and your bond.
  • do I need to pay a monthy subscription to use WeToca?
    no, WeToca has no subscription fees! once you purchase the WeToca rocks, you have access to the service indefinitely!
  • can I replay a message?
    yes, you can! if you miss the message, or there is a problem, you will be allowed to replay it within 30 seconds, if you don't, it will be automatically deleted. WeToca does not allow indefinite replaying of messages as, in real life, you can not replay an interaction.
  • do I need WiFi?
    yes, WeToca works with WiFi and other networks to provide your connections to other users.
  • can I connect with two friends at the same time?
    no, WeToca is designed to deepen your connection with an individual. talking to multiple would not achieve this. WeToca allows only one connection to take place at a time.
  • how long does the battery last?
    WeToca is designed for home use, each rock has a built in battery that lasts up to an hour (we do not recommend having a connection longer than this as it will dilute your sensory experience). with wireless charging between the rocks and the base, the rocks will charge automatically - as long as the base is plugged in!
  • how can I add a friend?
    it's easy! all you need to do is open the app, access the 'bonds' page, and click they 'add connection' button - this will take you through the simple step by step instructions. you can add anyone from your phone book who has a WeToca account, or share the link to your profile.
  • how many friends can I add?
    as many as you want! we encourage you to deepen your connections with anyone you feel comfortable with.
  • how many pinned connections can I have?
    you can add up to 3 pinned connections! on the home screen you will first be shown the profiles which have sent you touch messages, then your pinned connections.
  • do I need to open the app to send a touch message?
    yes, in order to send a message you first must select your intended bond, then choose your desired style of connection - this can be a live connection, or a touch message.
